Questions, answered
Before you try
something different.
The beta, the personal details, the evidence, and how this fits with HypnoThera.

The beta
Is the app available yet?
This is an early beta project. The app images are design previews. The TestFlight invitation will appear on the homepage when a build is ready. There is no account signup or payment on this site. Check beta availability.
Who is it being built for?
Adults aged 18 and over who want to change their porn habits. The examples focus on familiar situations such as a phone in bed, a laptop after work, and creator rabbit holes. You do not need to adopt the word “addict” or share graphic details to explore the idea.
Will it work on iPhone, Android, or the web?
The first planned invitation is for an iPhone beta through TestFlight. Android and a web app have not been announced. This website lets you explore the concept; it does not play hypnosis audio or connect to an app account.
What happens on a founder call?
It is a 15-minute product feedback conversation: what you have tried, where existing tools miss the point, and what you would want from a personalized session. It is not therapy or a clinical assessment. You can skip any question. The booking link will appear when it is ready.
Hypnosis & personalization
How personal does it get?
The planned intake covers your triggers, devices, settings, sites or broad content patterns, permission thoughts, and reasons to quit. For example: “laptop after work,” “I deserve a break,” and “I want my evenings back.” You choose which details are useful. The site uses invented examples and collects no intake answers.
Do I have to name sites or describe the porn I watch?
No. A broad label such as “creator profiles” or “videos on my phone” can be enough. There is no need for explicit images, videos, graphic descriptions, or a complete browsing history. Sensitive details should not be included in ordinary support emails.
Does hypnosis guarantee I will quit?
No. This app has not established its effectiveness. Hypnosis is being designed as a practice for responding differently to familiar situations. Evidence for hypnosis in other areas does not prove it works for porn use. Read the evidence guide and its research sources.
How is this different from a porn blocker?
The proposed focus is practicing a response to your actual triggers, rather than restricting sites. You might choose to use a blocker alongside a plan and guided practice. This preview does not block websites, inspect browsing history, or monitor your device.
What can I do when an urge hits?
Start with a small action: close the content, put the device down, and move to a setting where your plan is easier to follow. The app design includes a planned short reset, but it is not playable here. Use the practical urge guide now.
What if I watch porn again?
You can stop the current session and make a different next choice. Review where the plan broke down, then adjust one practical step. A lapse does not require abandoning the rest of the day. Read the lapse guide.
Is hypnosis a replacement for professional care?
No. The site and planned app do not diagnose or treat a medical condition. If the behavior is persistently hard to control or is affecting your daily life, seek a qualified professional. If you try any guided audio, use a safe setting, avoid driving or operating machinery, and stop if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
Accounts & subscriptions
How does HypnoThera fit in?
Quit Porn Hypnosis is a specialist project by HypnoThera, operated by El Sueno LLC. A shared account is planned, with purchases and access tied to the products they cover. Shared login and cross-app access are not live on this preview.
Does my HypnoThera subscription include this app?
We have not announced a price or finalized which plans include the specialist app. Do not assume an existing HypnoThera subscription includes it. Coverage, renewals, and cancellation terms will be shown before any beta purchase.
If I cancel one app, will I lose access to another?
The planned approach is to keep each purchase separate and derive access from the subscriptions that remain valid. That is a design requirement, not a live feature on this site. Until cross-app plans are announced, manage any existing subscription through the service where you bought it.
Can I manage payments or ask for a refund here?
There is no billing or purchase history on this site. For an existing HypnoThera purchase, use the original purchase service and include the product and purchase channel when contacting support. Never send full card details or an account password. See billing help.
